We work with the technology of UV-C radiation, which has been proven for several decades, to effectively and safely combat germs and viruses. The low energy consumption and the lamp service life of 9,000 operating hours should be emphasised here. With 8 hours of operation per day, this means a lamp life of 3 years. The lamps can be replaced without tools.

Via the built-in fans, the air is sucked in together with the aerosols contained therein. Our UV-C lamps inside the air purifiers effectively kill germs and viruses and return the purified air back into the room. To achieve an effective effect, it is important that the room air is circulated between 4 and 6 times per hour.

Our housing is designed in such a way that no UV-C rays can escape. Thus, all our air purifiers can be operated safely. In addition, a ceiling mounting, due to the low height of our air purifiers, is already possible from a ceiling height of 2.4 m without any problems. The installation of the devices is also uncomplicated.

OSS air purifiers remove up to 99.9% of viruses and bacteria from indoor air - tested by independent institute.

Frequently asked

UV-C light better known as ultraviolet radiation. It is a short-wave radiation. The wavelength of UV-C light is from 100 to 280 nanometers, with the highest disinfection achieved at 253.7 nm.

Due to the radiation energy of UV-C light, viruses, bacteria and mould spores are effectively deactivated and rendered harmless. UV-C has long been used for disinfection and is often referred to as germicidal UV radiation.

UV-C radiation has been proven to deactivate or destroy microorganisms such as coronavirus SARS - CoV-2 / Covid-19, viruses, bacteria and mould spores. The killing depends on the UV-C dose [J/m²] that an air purifier has. The efficiency of the disinfection can be up to 99.9%.

UV-C radiation triggers a photochemical reaction on contact with microorganisms. This has the effect that the DNA of the microorganism is destroyed. Duplication is thus prevented.

Our air purifiers work with low pressure UV-C lamps. These disinfection lamps produce UV-C rays with a wavelength of 253.7nm.

Unlike other disinfection methods, UV-C rays do not produce any by-products.

Safety is important to us, so the UV-C chamber inside our UV-C air purifiers is opaque. Thus, no danger comes from our air purifiers and people, animals and plants can stay in the room during treatment.

Our UV-C tubes have a service life of 9,000 hours. You can easily read off the operating hours via the operating hours counter.

Defective, broken or worn-out UV-C tubes are hazardous waste and must be separated from normal household waste. They must be disposed of at designated hazardous waste sites.
